Richard S. Fregin is a 1993 graduate of the Hamline University School of Law, in St. Paul, Minnesota. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Fregin earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing at the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse in 1985 and a bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse in 1994, graduating magnum cum laude.
Mr. Fregin was admitted to the Wisconsin State Bar in 1994 and worked in private practice in La Crosse, Wisconsin before moving to Arizona in 2003. Upon moving to Arizona, Mr. Fregin performed contracted legal services for various law firms in Maricopa County, including the Law Firm of Steven M. Ellsworth, until 2004, at which time he became a full-time employee of the firm. In January of 2009, Mr. Fregin left the Law Firm of Steven M. Ellsworth and began his own firm.
He was admitted to the Arizona Bar in February of 2006 and limits his practice to family law matters. He is currently a member of the Arizona Bar Association.
